Matt + Anna are Married!!! This past Friday was such a joyful day at the Mill at Fine Creek. The two were wed in the actual ruins of the mill where lush greenery and ivy has spent years climbing the stone walls.

Matt bought Anna her Mrs. Box!! This was my first time seeing their classic double sized boxes and I’m in LOVE! It’s such a gorgeous bridal detail and heirloom keepsake – picking a color must be so challenging!! (This rich color is the Scarlett!)

Anna had blush pink robes made for her Mom, Grandma, and her bridesmaids! I also loved the sleeve and back detail of Anna’s robe!

Matt and his Groomsmen got dressed in the cottage next door.

We did a First Look with Grandma, Anna’s Bridesmaids, and then Dad before her “First Interaction” with Matt!

Anna’s Dad helped her carry the train of her gown and walked with her to the spot where she’d hold Matt’s hand around the wall without seeing each other.

First Interactions are great for couples who want to spend a few minutes together before the Ceremony without actually seeing each other. It’s a quiet moment for just the two of them!

Here is another sweet moment! Both Matt and Anna’s Dads relaxing together during downtime before the Ceremony. I love these little behind the scenes moments.

This was such a beautiful ceremony! I especially loved these two moments when the officiant had Matt + Anna turn around and take a moment to see everyone who loves them and who will root for their marriage. Super impactful and fun moment!!

I also loved that at one point, both parents were called up to place their hands on the couple and enclose them in a prayer. Weddings are the beginning of your Marriage, but also where your two families become one.

Anna was such a stunning Bride!! Her bold lip paired with the pops of red in her bouquet so beautifully!

How He Asked:

Matt knew he had to catch Anna off-guard when he Proposed because he truly wanted to surprise her! He very casually asked her one day to grab something out of his bag for him.

It was THE RING!!

Then he got down on one knee!!!

The newlyweds did a special choreographed dance for their First Dance with a dip and kiss finale!

Friends joked who would have a longer speech between the maid of honor and best man! Some people actually bet a LOT of money hahah!!

This day wouldn’t have been so successful without this cutie pie in the middle of our newlyweds below. Jenny keen with Greenery & Grace is a top choice when our Brides ask us for recommendations! (If they haven’t already booked with her!)

Justin with Black Tie Entertainment was a great DJ and MC! He had a crowded dance floor all night!

Our beautiful Texan Hokies!!! This day was absolutely perfect and so joyful!! Sam and I have loved photographing the two of you in this special season of your life. You two radiate joy! Some of our favorite moments of this day was watching how beautifully your families got along and looked forward to becoming one big loving family. We are SO happy and excited for you both! We love and adore you both!!! Hope your honeymoon is amazing!!!
