The day started with Caitlin’s Dad finding a perfect 4-leaf clover. We had the most amazing Spring weather and we only got a tiny bit nervous when some rain drops started sprinkling in the middle of the ceremony. Luckily the rain held and the storm clouds only shaded guests from the sun.

We all knew that Caitlin + Jorge would throw one heck of a wedding with details that keep guests on their toes, while also making them feel special. Jorge’s family is from Peru and the newlyweds planned parts of the ceremony and speeches to be spoken in Spanish, which was really sweet!

Caitlin has THE BEST style. Those JCrew shoes and those linen pants — I’m obsessed!

Jorge and Caitlin shared gifts and letters to each other. Jorge bought her Chloé perfume and she got gifted him a leather keychain…it was part 1 of a gift that you’ll see at the end of this blog!! 

This is a CHAM-BONG! It was a hoot watching them do these!!

I’ve been keeping a secret with Caitlin that I am FINALLY able to share!! On the day of her hair and makeup trial, Caitlin snuck her Mom’s Wedding dress out of the house and we did a Bridal Session in it!

We recreated the bridal pose her Mom did from her parent’s Wedding Day!! The dress fit Caitlin like a glove and was SO timelessly beautiful!! We had the recreated portrait printed and Caitlin put it side by side in a frame next to her Mom’s portrait. Caitlin also gifted Jorge with a framed image from this secret bridal session!

I’ll blog more of this secret Bridal Session soon, but here’s a little sneak peek!

The next happy surprise was a First Look with Caitlin’s Dad who walked in the room and immediately said “WOW….where are the tissues?!!!” 

I remember Caitlin’s Dad coming to all of her Volleyball games to cheer on his little girl from the stands. Pretty sure that he’s still her biggest fan! Caitlin gave him cufflinks that had a picture of the two of them at a father daughter dance back when she was a little girl.

I can’t tell you how much I LOVE these blues!! How awesome is that Bro-Maid’s light blue jacket?!!

Oh my gosh can we talk about these blue hues!? They are AMAZING!

Friends, if you know Jorge then you know that he is REALLY into cars and racing.

On our shot list, we even had a “Car Friends” picture we had to take with all of his guy friends who are aficionados. Several of his groomsmen gifts were even cufflinks with luxury car logos!

The Ceremony took place in the Retreat at Eastwood’s beautiful Garden. It was surrounded by manicured greenery, string lights and blooming flowers. A piano set up in the gazebo was playing live music as guests made their way to their seats.

Caitlin and Jorge had always been flirty with each other, but Caitlin actually made the first move.

She invited him to one of her sorority’s date night functions, but he unfortunately had to work. He then asked her for ALL of the dates of the next functions for the rest of the semester and he took off every single one of those days.

At one of those date functions, Jorge went to the bar to take a shot with one of his friends who happened to be dating one of Caitlin’s sorority sisters. (Both were here today!) This guy said “You know that you’re dating a really good girl? When are you going to make things official?” Jorge asked Caitlin to be his girlfriend that night!

They’re Married!! 🙂

Guests took a trolley to the nearby barn on the property for cocktail hour and the reception.

I loved how Caitlin’s gift to her Mom was placed over the cake table for everyone to see!

When it came time for dances, Caitlin + Jorge surprised everyone with their beautifully choreographed First Dance.

For the Father Daughter dance, Caitlin and her Dad had everyone cheering when they started their own upbeat choreographed dance!

The rest of the night was a FIESTA on the dance floor! A mix of Spanish jams and quick-paced hip hop kept the floor crowded all night!! DJ Kavemann Productions was AMAZING!

A total surprise to the guests, Carousel Frozen Treats made a welcomed appearance!! Guests could order whatever they wanted, a treat from the newlyweds!! Such a great idea!!!

Caitlin had one last planned surprise, but this time it was for her new Groom.

Setting the bar WAY high for Wedding Gifts, Caitlin bought Jorge a M3 racing style BMW that he had wanted but didn’t buy a long time ago!! At the time, he was saving his money to buy her a ring and a future home together. Then Caitlin contacted his friend who had the car and started planning the surprise. How sweet is that?!!

He was so happy and totally surprised! He yelled “I’M GOIN’ TO BURN IT OUT!!!!” …and after he helped his new Bride into the passenger seat, he did a burn out to a cheering crowd.

In the car was a letter that read:

“I got my beautiful ring & perfect wedding. Now I thought you should get your M3! Love, Cait 

PS. New keychain for your new keys!

#HipHipJorge was the perfect hashtag for you guys because you two know how to celebrate! That was one heck of an amazing Wedding Day to celebrate your first day as Husband + Wife!! We strongly believe the most fun relationships stay fun when you never stop doing things to surprise each other… pretty sure you guys already have that down pat. Caitlin you were the most beautiful Bride and it was such an honor to be a part of that surprise for your Mom! That was incredibly sweet and thoughtful! You guys have surrounded yourselves with so many people who love you so much, and you did so much to make sure they had a great night celebrating, too! We love you both!! Felicitaciones recién casados!!
