James + Elizabeth gathered their closest friends and family at Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia this past Saturday to celebrate the start of their Marriage!
It was such a wonderful and joyful day for these high school sweethearts!!
The girls got ready in this charming cottage, which was just a short walk down the lane from the Mansion.
Grand Reveal to Dad and Bridesmaids! Elizabeth took everyone’s breath away!! She truly looked perfect!
James’ reaction to seeing Elizabeth come out of the Mansion and during vows was the sweetest thing!
I love when our JMU couples incorporate this tradition! The streamers in their school’s colors are so fun!!

At one point in their beautiful story, they briefly moved down to Richmond. Together the four of us shared a duplex full of pets and one crazy landlord! Haha!! We loved being their neighbors!!
From high school band… to Husband and Wife!!
One last kiss before hopping in their white limo! A few back country roads lead us to downtown Leesburg’s Birkby House for a beautiful Reception!
The details were stunning! Especially the drapery and chandeliers on the ceiling of the tent, as well as the ultra long head table covered in candles and lush florals!
Their open bar even included a margarita machine!!!
At one point the dance floor was BUMPIN’ a little too hard and one poor guest got her legs knocked out from underneath her!! She broke her ankle!!
Everyone was so excited and happy to hug the newlyweds!! It was a reunion of so many of their favorite people!

Oh hey, neighbors!! This day was AMAZING! You two are amazing! We are so thankful to have met you both and we have loved cheering you on!! We are totally biased, but high school sweethearts DO have some of the most fun Wedding Days and loving Marriages!! You two are so in love and it shows in every image!!
