Cody + Samantha | Wedding in Warrenton, Virginia

Samantha + Cody are finally married!!! You may remember them from their Engagement Session with their cute dogs and even a SMILING baby duckling. This past weekend was probably our chilliest Wedding to date (Until our New Year’s Eve wedding coming up!) but it was one of the best!

When Samantha + Cody first contacted us to shoot their wedding, Sam and I were SO happy because we’ve been rooting for them to get married for a long time! There are those couples who you meet and you can just tell that they were made to be with each other. Then you keep your hopes high while they go through the stages of dating from highschool through college!!! Even in their best friends’ speeches at the Reception, they said they’ve always known their relationship was special.

These two are all about getting friends and family together, which is why they wanted to have their wedding the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Everyone was already gathering together for the long weekend celebrating, eating and enjoying time spent together.

Oh my gosh, Samantha!!! You were such a gorgeous bride!

I tell you what, Sam and I have really lucked out with awesome bridal parties this year!! Since this ceremony started early at 2pm, the guys had to get up earlier than normal guys like to wake up BUT they didn’t complain at all! In fact, they were so excited for the day to start that they were taking selfies and laughing at inside jokes from the night before.

Samantha and Cody decided that they didn’t want to see each other until Samantha was walking down the aisle.

When she did walk down arm in arm with her daddy, she was glowing!!

Cody’s brother married the two of them at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church and he spoke about the hopes and dreams he had for their new future. He encouraged them to be patient with each other and to love each other well.

Yay!! They’re Married!!!!

The two highschool sweethearts were married in their shared hometown Warrenton, Virginia.

Sam and I love Warrenton not just because it is also our hometown, but also because within a 2 minute’s drive from Main Street, you are back in the countryside with tall grassy hills and charming stonewalls.

They both have such warm, happy smiles!!!
