Jeff + Jenn are MARRIED!!! Surrounded by over 200 friends and family, these newlyweds exchanged vows, shared ice cream & BBQ, and genuinely never stopped smiling!

For those of you lucky enough to know these two, then you’ve experienced their contagious bubbly joy.

They’re truly in love and know love.

Grand Reveals with Dad and then the Bridesmaids!

BFFs who pray together, stay together.

I love that faith plays such a huge role in Jenn + Jeff’s relationship. Usually when you least expect it, God can literally put your future right in front of you on center stage.

How they Met:

Jenn had just joined a new church and was looking to get involved in a bible study to meet people. With small group sign ups around the corner, Jeff got up on stage to make an announcement.

“….He was really cute! So I decided to join his group! The first night, I got lost and decided to give Jeff a call. Jeff says I did this on purpose so he’d have my number – he may not be wrong!”

From that day, they started to get to know each other and after a few weeks, Jeff added Jenn on ALL forms of social media, which he got teased about several times during their Wedding!! Haha!! That’s when Jenn knew the feelings were probably mutual.

In December of that year, they finally went on their first date. Jenn jokes it was a bit of a flop on her end, but it ended up being the best night! She invited Jeff over to make homemade pizza, without knowing how long pizza dough takes to make and rise!!! They ended up having an excuse to hang out for extra long and therefore had the best time and great conversations, that ultimately ended in their first kiss! They ended up hanging out every day for the next three days and on that 3rd date, they made things official!

Jenn, you were the most beautiful, glowing Bride!!!!

How he Asked:

After 6 months of dating, they planned to go on a picnic in Annapolis, Maryland. Jenn could sense that a little something was up because the night before, she asked Jeff what he was planning to wear and his answer was a little dressier than your average simple picnic in the park. Plus she was definitely suspicious when he asked her to wear a dress! When they got to Annapolis, Jeff told Jenn he had something to show her. He said,“You’ll see, it’s something you can only see in Annapolis.”

My ‘You’re about to get engaged’ radar was blaring at this point.

As we walked down this little side street in front of the Capital building, Jeff grabbed my hand to cross the street and pulled us in to the middle of the street. Then he looked at me and I thought, “It’s happening!” My initial reaction was to say, “Oh, you’re doing this right here…but what about the cars?!” Jeff replied, “Yeah! I don’t care about the cars!!”

That’s about all that either of us remembered saying. We are confident that Jeff said something very heartfelt before proposing and that I said yes, but those funny comments about the cars are all we can remember. After the proposal we enjoyed our two favorite foods, tacos and ice cream!

I’ll tell ya what! This crew stuck it out with us during picture time!! To say it was HOT would be such an understatement, but this amazing group of people got it done with us!

I loved spending the day with these girls!! Actually TWO of my beautiful Brides are pictured below, and one more was attending as a guest!! (Katey, Jenn and Tyler, you girls are so special to us and it was SO fun to see all of you on the same day!!)

They newlyweds cooled down their their guests with TWO different food/beverage trucks!! Not sure which was a bigger hit between Gelati Celesti Ice Cream or The Watering Hole Beer Cart!!

Since July has sunlight until like 9pm, the newlyweds opted to go to Cocktail hour and eat dinner before doing their Bride + Groom portraits during golden hour! *This doesn’t work for every Wedding timeline, but for Summer weddings, it’s so much more comfortable to wait out the heat and wait catch that pretty golden hour light!

I had my eye on this wildflower field all morning and by golden hour that spot was glowing in total shade!! #bless

Seriously can’t get over the two of you!!

We left the Bridal Party in charge of keeping the dance floor packed until we returned … and they delivered!!

WHAT AN AMAZING DAY to start your Marriage!!! Jenn, isn’t it wild to look back to the moment where you chose THAT church to out of all the others…and Jeff, looking back to that day you agreed to step on stage to make an announcement? Both seemingly small choices at the time was actually God guiding you towards each other. You both have this contagious joy that we all can’t stop talking about — it’s a joy that comes from having a relationship with Jesus, and it’s a joy we loved celebrating!!! Marriage is going pull you even closer together!! Life can get challenging, but starting now, you’re a TEAM and we are so excited to cheer for you alongside ALL of your amazing friends and families!! Cheers to all the joy, the mess, all the tacos, and all incredible ways God works in your lives!! We love and adore you both so much!! ENJOY ARUBA!!! 🙂 🙂
