I’ve got a whole bunch more of really sweet Engagement Sessions coming to the blog these next coming weeks! I love telling people’s love stories starting with how they met and fell in love since those parts of our couple’s stories always inspires me.

Andrew and Kathryn met on Valentine’s Day weekend through a mutual friend. Kathryn was living in Buffalo, NY visiting her best friend from high school in Virginia. Little did Kathryn know that her best friend was secretly coordinating a casual way for her to get introduced to Andrew.

“Needless to say, I ruined our girls weekend because I only wanted to hang out with Andrew!”

After a great weekend together, Kathryn headed back to Buffalo for graduate school, and the two started dating long distance. Over the course of the next two years, Andrew would brave what Kathryn claims to be “horrible Buffalo snow” to spend time with her!

Andrew proposed to Kathryn where they shared one of their first dates at Dumbarton Oaks in Georgetown, right in front of both of their families!! Great job planning this thoughtful proposal, Andrew!!

Dear Andrew + Kate,

You two are so wonderful together! I loved every second of this session because you can see how much you truly love each other. Absolutely cannot wait to meet your families and celebrate with you on your Wedding Day!! We love you both and are praying for a fun remaining few months of planning!  See you soon in North Carolina! 🙂
