Sandy + Sarah are MARRIED!!! I can’t even begin to tell you how wonderful this whole Wedding was! Even when it was time for the grand exit, no one (including us) wanted it to be over!! They celebrated their big day with a Ceremony at Hope Church and then an open-air Trolley transported the Bridal Party to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) for their Cocktail Hour and Reception.

I remember past conversations with these two saying how excited they were to just BE married and to throw a Wedding that would really wow and surprise their guests. Honestly, it’d be hard to pick just ONE amazing moment between the both of them crying tears of joy at the ceremony, ICE-ING the ENTIRE Bridal Party in front of everyone, or maybe when the groomsmen stormed the dance floor in Togas and a Giraffe costume??! Guests had a blast at this Wedding!!

It would not have been possible without Glint Events planning and coordination!!! With such a jam-packed timeline, we would never have been able to do our jobs well without Kate + Anna! Brittany, the coordinator with Hope Church was such a huge help, too!

Oh my gosh, the moment Sarah’s Mom took a step back and saw her little girl as a Bride was just the sweetest!!

Sarah, you were such breathtakingly beautiful Bride!!

First Looks with the BFFs was adorable!!!

This all-blonde squad were such a fun group of friends!! They made sure Sarah never forgot how beautiful she looked!

Sarah also did a First Look with her Dad, who was all smiles and hugs when he saw her!

How they Met: It all started when they bumped into each other at a Bonnaroo Concert. Technically they were casual acquaintances from High School, but it wasn’t until they saw each other again that they decided they should give dating a chance.

How He Asked: One day Sarah was in an Uber with her BFFS en route to grab dinner, when one of them turned around and said for Sarah to get out of the car. Knowing she wasn’t at the location of the restaurant, Sarah was confused, but then exclaimed “OH MY GOSH, AM I GETTING ENGAGED?!”

She said she SPRINTED out of the car when she looked over and saw Sandy standing under a small patch of trees where he had hung string lights. She was so happy and excited when he proposed, that she fell to her knees hugging him!! Afterwards he told her to turn around and out came two more of her best friends from college!! (*One of them took this picture!)

Their First Look together before the Ceremony was incredibly sweet. Sarah sat on Sandy’s knee and leaned her head against his while they prayed.

This emotional entrance was solid proof that doing a First Look doesn’t ruin any emotion at the Ceremony!! When Sarah faced Sandy at the beginning of her walk down the aisle, I think it actually felt real for her at this moment. She had to pause and just it all in before continuing on with her Dad!

These Newlyweds are hilarious and loving people. Sandy makes Sarah laugh out loud so hard, and the two of them were just so giggly and happy with each other this entire day!

The Bridal Party was told that whoever had the Best Entrance back in to the Reception would win a prize. This crew took that competition VERY seriously with wild outfits and funny dances!!!

After their own entrance and first dance, Sandy grabbed the mic and and announced to the Bridal Party that they were all winners and all get a prize…They were getting ICED!!

Out walked the wait staff with Smirnoff Ices for all of them!!!! Laughing and groaning, they all took a knee and chugged!

Ties tied together limbo!!

…and then the crowd went nuts when the TOGAS stormed the dance floor followed by one Giraffe costume!! Hahah!!! These groomsmen were absolutely hilarious!!

Forever obsessed with our couples!! Gina + Hunter got married in April!

Sandy + Sarah,

I’m still out of breath when I think about how much amazing stuff we packed into this day! You guys squeezed every minute possible out of this day and it was THE BEST DAY! If that is the approach you take in your marriage – to go after it hard, make every day count, to roll with the punches, be each other’s home and keep Jesus rooted in all of it – then dang, guys. You’re going to have one heck of a beautiful and rock solid marriage. I don’t think a single person left your Wedding early which says a lot about how much fun they had, but more so about how much your community of people LOVE the two of you!! We hope your marriage is full of new ways to surprise each other!! We love and adore you both!!! HAVE THE BEST HONEYMOON!

Love,

The Tuckers
